CONSOLE MASTER RACE. Say what you want, I run an RTX 3090 you PC nerds!
CRank: 5Score: 17890

It’s called Kickstarter, since 99% of games are broken upon release and are essentially still in development.

Tipping culture is getting out of hand. I just see this as moving in a direction where employers no longer want to be held accountable for their employee’s salaries or investments.

Why aren’t you showing your appreciation and providing me with a tip for purchasing your game? Did I do something wrong by only dropping $130+ on your Ultimate Edition...

It's all about the hive mind, and I'm no exception to it. We buy each installment pretty much every year, regardless of the next installment being an improvement or not. Sad to say, but it is what it is.

Payday 2 doesn't even deserve that, and you can probably point towards its discounted price given its age for the reason why its current player count sits above Payday 3. Let's forget reviews from critics for a moment and focus on what gamers like you and I think. The 1st game received a rating of 6.5, Payday 2 received a rating of 4, and the last installment received a rating of 3.1. The franchise is trash and always has been. I'm not sure why it receives anything but negative pr...

Last one was garbage too. Felt like I was playing an old school video game with invisible walls/boundaries, 2D assets, and a flat environment you could not interact with.

Sony saving its own 69b for a massive acquisition :)

As a long time console gamer that owns all the major consoles, I’ve started to shift more and more of my time to PC simply because there are fewer hurdles to jump.

The PC platform makes it easier to tap into the PlayStation and Xbox ecosystems without console purchases acting as a paywall to access those specific libraries. Sony’s more popular 1st party games usually make it onto PC, albeit with a bit ...

It’s OK. You don’t want your name rolling down the credits for this game. Will be found in the bargain bin shortly.

Both Microsoft and Sony downplaying their position in the market, telling gamers “our brand sucks and our product is trash” while each tries to play the victim over this Activision acquisition.

From a strategic standpoint, it’s obvious why Sony would claim 3rd party games are better than their 1st party exclusives. The UK’s CMA is making efforts to block Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision, claiming Sony will have a difficult time competing if the acquisition is allowed. Sony would be unwise not to downplay the performance of their 1st part games/studios and play along to that claim.

That’s because you can’t take advantage of that glitch that gives you 3 years for $1 anymore, which I could see inflating the subscriber base. I for one did not renew after that. Big 1st party games are few and far between. If those can’t push consoles, they won’t push subscribers. GamePass went the way of Netflix with a library of B games. Wasn’t much for me to dabble in while I had it.

If you ever thought of letting your kids dress themselves for school, just reference CoD multiplayer if you want to get an idea of what to expect.

SLI might be worth reconsidering at these prices. No matter how poor performance scaling was, it pales in comparison to today’s price scaling (scalping).

Regardless of what was actually said, both companies have their own business interests at stake and neither is in the business of keeping the other afloat. Business is business. We can go on forever speculating what was actually said. There are no freebies or passes being extended to gamers without it amounting to some sort of financial gain somewhere down the line, and that applies to both companies.

Bluetooth itself works off the 2.4GHz band, so even if your PS5 is wired to your network you will get that interference so long as there is a 2.4GHz Wifi network in proximity. Some routers (I think only ASUS at this point) have an option for Bluetooth Coexistence which will report to your Bluetooth devices which channels are in use so that they can hop on an unused channel. The problem is that most Bluetooth products don’t bother to make use of this feature. Was experiencing this issue 1st ha...

If you’re referring to texture streaming from disc, no there is no improvement. That was a thing of past generations. The SSD is too fast for it to be worthwhile to stream texture from disc.

I would probably avoid the game at that point. The game strives to set a historical tone within a certain time piece. That’s all lost when it turns into WoW. Leave the Halloween costume at home for once. The game can do without a hot pink velociraptor mount, equipped with a train horn.
